Dowsing is the practice of detecting and working with natural energy lines that flow through the Earth. These energy lines can influence health, sleep, plant growth, and the harmony of buildings. Using traditional dowsing techniques, negative energy lines—such as underground water flows or Hartmann and Curry lines—can be identified and corrected. One common method involves installing a French Coil to neutralise or convert negative energy into a positive flow. Dowsing can also be used with tools such as fan charts and pendulums to assess minerals, make informed choices, and strengthen intuitive awareness.
The Earth carries .....a myriad of energy lines circumnavigating the planet—some positive and some negative. To utilise these energy lines, a dowser seeks the positive lines. Negative lines, if having a detrimental effect on buildings,
people, animals, plants, etc., can, through dowsing techniques, be negated and the line changed into a positive one.
People seek help in checking their house site for negative energy lines. A negative line, or an underground water flow beneath a house, does not bode well for good health and/or restful sleep. These lines can be diverted or turned positive.
Fruit trees that are not growing well, and sometimes grow twisted, may have a negative Hartmann or Curry line running beneath them. Once located, this energy line can be negated through a dowsing practice by installing a “French Coil.”
Everything has energy and can therefore be dowsed. Stones have both a negative and a positive end. When dowsing was an accepted part of life, a builder would pick up a rock, stone, or brick when erecting a building and automatically sense the negative and positive ends of the stone. It would then be placed so that all stones ran negative to positive, creating a balanced energy within the building. Anyone who has experienced the calm of the old cathedrals in Europe will recognise this description. Likewise, stones placed in a circle, negative to positive, can create a positive flow of energy.
Fan charts are often used by dowsers. The range of items that can be entered on a fan chart is endless. To gain “yes” or “no” responses—and even percentages—is very easy using such a chart. Whether choosing vitamins, books, a beach to visit, or fertiliser needed in the garden, the list is limited only by your imagination.
You are what you think. It is imperative that your questions are well thought out. Even a few short questions provide better direction than one long, complex question.
A dowser has the advantage of being able to test the levels of minerals (or anything else) within their body. Holding a strand of your own hair, ask the pendulum (or any other device), “Is the effect of zinc in my body dominant?” Alternatively, with the same strand of hair, ask, “Is the effect of copper in my body dominant?” Copper is often linked to dowsing and creativity. If zinc is too high, logic can dominate. Balance is the most important thing.
There is nothing special about a dowsing implement; it is simply a tool used to read your body’s innate ability to detect the natural energy of an item or situation. It is a noticeable fact that the more you dowse, the greater your intuition becomes.
